Womens Fishing Club
« on: January 11, 2011, 10:31:45 PM »

So I came across this today at my local tackle shop and thought that it was a great idea so I am posting it up here. Hatch Match'r in Maple Ridge has a great space above the shop for this so hopefully there will be some interest.

Ladies of all Ages Wanted
Ladies, have you ever wanted to learn how to fly fish, tie flies, river fish for salmon, fish our local lakes or maybe just meet other women with the same outdoor interests as you. We might have the answer. Currently there are numerous “Fishing Clubs” for men in the local area but nothing for women. The staff from Hatch Matchr wants to change this and we are asking for your help.

All we need is keen interest from you and your friends who would like to start a “Ladies Only Fishing Club”. You will meet new friends, have an excuse to get out of the house, plan outings, hold seminars and lessons, learn where, when and how to fish our local area and most of all enjoy the company of ladies who share the same passion for fishing that you have.

The need is there it is just a matter of getting you all together in the same place with the same goal.

We have the perfect area within our store for your meetings and we will help where ever needed but this will be your club and will be run 100% by you

Sound interesting?? Call and sign up
Hatch Match’r @ (604)467-7118

First meeting will be in February on a Saturday @ 2:00 pm.

My wife thinks so too. I hope she will attend and get more excited about fishing.
