I have one , its commercial grade it works great. It is really well made too.Bought it from Cabelas Winnipeg. Their bags are good too.

Thanks for the info. Can you use other plastic bags with the CG15  ie. Foodsaver bags ?

I have not tried using other bags as I bought an extra bunch with my purchase of the unit. I suppose you can. There is an adjustment to the seal time , you can reduce the time if the bag is thinner and you can do more time if the bag is heavier.

The  Machine is well made and heavy and being so I suppose it will be durable. I only used it to bag the sockeyes I caught last year, and also the ones I smoked. It' a good machine , tho cost more than the Food Saver but I am sure it will last you a long time.

I have this sealer, its awesome.  I would definately recomend it.  I had the new food saver sealer over the summer and it "sucked" compared to this machine.
