they should have released that fish dont see too many that large anymore NICE FISH THOUGH

I agree.  The smaller 'nooks taste better anyways, at least to me.  Toss the big'uns back...after a picture, of course!

though I don't argue with releasing those bigger ones but need to mention that only a very tiny fraction of those bigger ones are caught by anglers which has close to a zero effect. 
the most bigger ones caught are harvested by commercial fisheries.

That fish was worth over $100,000.  Would you release it?  I've been to the WCR derby and most if not all the winners donate a portion of their winnings back into salmon enhancement.
