I am headed to Tahsis on Thursday and last year we hit the Campbell for some pinks and it was pretty good.

The reports on the Campbell this year are that the returns are pretty slim (normal as it is an off-year on the Island for pinks).

I'll be back on Sunday and can give you a report them (if I remember).

The Campbell is starting to pick up now and the fish are in decent numbers.  Still not as great as what it was last year but then its pretty tough to top that.

hey there are pinks in the system people have been getting fish through out with lots of people fishing below the quinsam. There are also people catching pinks and coho off shore in the shore casting areas north and south of campbell river. Theres also summer run steelhead, in the rivers around campbell river.
