Tidal Fraser River, Sepember 5th 2011: A.M. South Arm
« on: September 05, 2011, 12:22:20 PM »

Lot's and lots of fish rolling at Dump Bar, however water quality has degraded as is now back to about half a foot. This has been what in my opinion has been hurting pink chances.

Havn't seen this many people out in along time. Easily 30-50 people in the area (Triangle Road all the way down to the end of the dump, in two hours no Pinks caught by anyone that I saw. I was there from 9am-11:45am.

Lots of Course fish biting on the bar fishers.

**Edit: Tonnes of risers coming in groups about every 15-20 minute ago. I was out 2 days ago and I could really see the increase. Its the water clarity that's making things difficult for now. When the big numbers arrive Im sure things will really pickup.

Was out for a few hours this morning on my favorite rock jetty, fishing was hit and miss in spurts like always, ended up coming home with 3, and a few long-line released.

i got 2 more today (both females) on pink spoons, and lost 3 others at shore - brutal ratio!  and my wife hooked 2 and landed 1 male also on pink spoons. Water clarity seemed to be a bit better today (finally) and we saw the most fish we've seen so far this year.  Again, most of the action occurred just before, during, and shortly after high slack tide
