Curious how the hatchery coho fishing has been up in the canyon? When I used to fish the lower canyon, many years ago before the flood and the re-channelization, the fishing for hatch cohos was excellent. A buddy (Morty) was told by a hatchery staffer that the hatch coho went up past the hatchery to the canyon and then later dropped back downstream to the hatchery. Now, with the main channel no longer near the hatchery, the hatch coho would have nothing to drop back to. Wonder if they still make their way up into the canyon?
