Stormtech Outlet Store
« on: November 28, 2011, 06:15:06 PM »

I was told about this place and went and checked it out today. They have some great deals on warm clothing and winter jackets at great deals (40-80% off). I picked up some things for cheap that will hopefully be good for the river in the winter.

Its on Boundary pretty much right under the overpass.

I picked up a couple of water proof jackets and a nice wool jacket, all for $120. It was about $500 worth according to the tags.

There's also a local manufacturer out of East Van: "Westcomb". Every so often, usually in the fall they have a massive sample sale. It's by "invitation" only, but I'm sure it's not hard to get an invitation. Find them on google and email Gabriel Cote and inquire.

It's really high quality stuff, using the highest quality materials. They use eVent for their waterproof breathable, 900 goosefill down etc.. That's where I get my snowboard stuff, soft shells etc, which would also work for fishing.
