Washing wading jacket
« on: February 14, 2012, 08:20:03 AM »

Im running my coat through the washer , with the two different types of nikwax . The wash then the waterproofing wax .

My question is ...... Do I put it in the dryer after the 2nd cycle? Or hang it to dry?

Thx

Dryer is is good for most waterproof breathable fabrics as heat restores the water repellant coating.  Your Nikwax container will probably say to avoid air-drying.  If you have any neoprene on the jacket, keep the dryer temp to Low.
