Holy jumping to conclusions Batman!

Did it ever occur to to some of you that perhaps the fish were legally harvested during a commercial opening, such as the Fraser River gillnet fishery for chum that closed on Oct 26 (see FN 0980). Probably not...

Take a pill, people.

Agreed.
Could be as simple as calling the number listed and asking the seller what's the deal.

All that comes to mind is... there are easier ways to illegally sell salmon without getting caught, I doubt the person is that stupid to be selling illegally caught/poached salmon on craigslist...

Maybe so, but to paraphrase the late great George Carlin:

Think of how stupid the average person is... then consider that - by defintion - half the population is even dumber.

Bunch of roe pigs... Wait, I was wondering too. ;D

Province's RAPP phoned me this afternoon, they believe that this sale is from the commercial fishery that took place last week. I didn't bother questioning the officer if he was 100% certain because salmon are not his responsibility anyway, as he also stated. DFO would be the authority who can look into this.

yep me too but it only leads to more questions

rod we asked who do we report this to

you quickly posted  the link

we followed the link called the federal #

2 days later we get a call back from a CO

yes a provincial fellow who says it " looks like the fish MIGHT of come from an opening on the faser"

if you have any more questions please contact DFO as this is a salmon matter and not in our jurisdiction

i thaught that is what i was doing in the first place by calling the dfo #
