I started the day at first light targeting cohos with roe. Hooked into a jack but lost him after 3 seconds. Later I hooked into a larger fish but before I could tell what it was, it spit out the hook and send my float flying back at me. After that there were some soft taps but no solid connections. I can see a tomato colored coho rolling around from time to time.
When first light had past I decided to target chums with jigs. I hooked around 12 fish and landed may be 5. None of them were in good enough shape for me to take home. One lucky guy beside me landed a nice doe. It seems like the whole river is zombie city already and it's only November 10th. Last year around this time, there was tons of fresh fish still to be caught. Later I see this guy decide to keep the first fish he hooked. I walked over to this doe, and saw the fins on the tails and sides have already started to decay. The greenish and black flesh is being invaded by white-ish rotten parts. Over all fishing is fair, but hooking fish without rotten parts is difficult.
