Conditions were perfect today! Water was slightly up with great clarity. All I was missing was some fish! Got my baitcaster fixed yesterday, my uncle linus and his friend managed to diagnose the problem. Seemed all it need was a little TLC Fished above the highway bridge this morning. Enjoyed a nice coffee and bailys before first light sitting on the river bank. So peaceful. Did not have my float move all morning until 12:30 when it slammed under. Got my blood pumping. Turned out to be a 4ft piece of cedar. Left shortly after with my head held high!
