What would you choose.

Triline biggame. or Ironsilk?

this is for a spinning reel. and for saltwater fishing.

tough call there Jighead.......IMHO i would go for the big game line...i prefer the ironsilk for trout fishing..... 8)

none of the above, if you are going to need a saltwater spinning reel line, you should go with Trilene XT, tough like Big Game but works well on spinning reels.

I use 10 lb IronSilk on all the ultralights (trout and light spin reels) for sockeye. Thi stuff has held up quite well, and I can't remember a single loss due to line failure over the last two years I've been using it. I always run a clear leader to a swivel (maxima) from the terminal.

Not all that important in the salt, but chucking the IronSilk from a baitcaster feels like greased lightening compared to Maxima. I use both, but more and more have tended towards IronSilk for the steely show. Casts significantly farther, thinner diameter allows better line control on the flow, and you get nearly twice as much line for the buck. All good!
