Just got back from an overnight stay in Vancouver. Stayed in a hotel on Granville Street by the bridge. Went for a walk to get a coffee while the rest of the family slept in.
On the walk down the street at 5:30 am the sights made me glad I lived in the Valley if you know what I mean including some of the stores I observed were a real eye opener to a country boy.
I think the last time I was at that end of the street was 30 years ago so things have really changed to say the least.
O, to be out fishing again I thought as I quickly retreated back to the hotel after getting the coffee but Leaf Craft is still awaiting the arrival of her new axel so she can continue to roll out to the river.
Anyway I submitted the video of the pike minnow story to Global (channel
late this morning on the way home so I hope they use it some time in one of the news slots between now and tomorrow's noon news.
You may want keep a eye open for it if they decide it is interesting enough and they do not have a lot of more important news items. Of course most of you will be watching the hockey game tonight.
