What part of Fraiser to Springs enter?
« on: May 27, 2004, 05:19:25 PM »

Does anyone know or think they know what arm of the frasier the springs enter in greatest numbers. (North, middle, south) I beleave that most of the fish that come down the inside of vancouver island would probally go up the north arm. But what about the huge south or main arm. All the fish that go around the west coast would probally go up the south arm as it it the shortest swim for them. I have done quite well at times at the mouth of the north arm for springs along with many other fisherman, but never seen anyone trying in front of the south arm. I feel this arm gets way more fish than the others, as most of the fish that pass by Port Renfiew, Sooke and Victoria are Fraiser bound fish. In the next month, fishing is very hot in these spots so it should be the same at the mouth of the south arm. There is even a fourth enterence called canoe passage  just south of the main arm where the springs could go up. I plan to fish these spots in the next month and was just wondering others knowledge or experence on the subject.
