kokanee fishing any good
« on: June 05, 2013, 03:16:29 PM »

With weather warming, is Allouette kokanee biting yet? I was there almost a month ago. Lots of fish on fish finder but no bite. How about Kawkawa Lake? Have the kokanee there started to bite again? Any update is highly appreciated.

I was at Allouette sat. Last weekend averaged a keeper every 30mins. Biggest was just under 12" most between 10.5"-11.5" I was using full sink on a 2wt with a snell hook and worm. The other side was ford fender with 8"leader to a snell and worm. Both do equally well.
