I was wondering the same thing, I wanted to take my 12 ft to the mouth. Is the vedder mouth accessible from this launch.

Haven't launched from there yet this year, but this week I met several boats at the mouth who had come from there. I used to go to the Vedder from there in years past with my 14 ft tinnie equipped with a 25 HP Merc. It was an easy go of it, and less stressful than Barrowtown. Watch out for tides rips- where the wind goes in the opposite direction of the tide. They can really mess  around a smaller boat.
Also, give yourself plenty of daylight time to get back as the nights are coming more and more early.
Lastly, bring some money. I think it costs $10 to launch.
