Headed up to the Stave to try for some cutties with my new Switch rod.  Could not get it working very well at first, then it dawned on me that I had not put the shooting head on the line,  DUH.  Got that installed and started casting much better.

No fish around and the fry have not started to show up yet.  Maybe a few warn days and they will stat to emerge.  There was a hatch going on of some small flying insect, not sure what it was. 

Fished about 3 hours and just one tap the whole time.  Not many people around just a father and his son, nice to see.
