On the Water Sturgeon Fishing Class

Sturgeon fishing is fun and exciting for anglers of all ages and skill levels. Not to mention it's highly addictive, especially if you know what you are doing. Fast track your way to becoming a successful Sturgeon angler with our On the Water Sturgeon Fishing class taught by top rod, Ryan Forester. Ryan is a going into his 10th year as a full-time professional Fraser River Sturgeon fishing guide. This is a beginners class and is specifically designed for anglers new to Sturgeon fishing. You will learn the in's and out's of how to effectively target Sturgeon in our local waters.



You will receive 6 hours of "on the water" fishing instruction. During that time you will learn the following:

- fishing strategies (water conditions, tidal effects, time of year)
 - bait selection
 - equipment selection (rods, reels and lines)
 - terminal tackle setup
 - safe handling practices
 - fishing and anchoring etiquette

What you will need:

- Valid tidal water fishing license
 - clothing appropriate for weather conditions
 - lunch and beverages

Instructor: Ryan Forester
 Date: Saturday April 5, 9:00am - ­3:00pm (3 hours)
 Price: $250 + GST per person (limit 4 students)
