Hotel, katherine and Mixal lake

Hello, just wondering if anyone knows what the fishing would be like in these lakes around Easter weekend? I'm heading to the sunshine coast, but not super close to those lakes and I don't want to bring the kids all the way there if the fishing is limited. Any other suggestions would also be welcomed. Thanks!
