had a great last vedder trip of the steelhead season before still water season kicks off. first fished friday afternoon with my dad and he hookup with a steelhead that we managed to get close to shore but couple headshakes and he was off, can actually see the headshake on video. fished the rest of the evening with nothing seen or caught. took a day off saturday to do some atving with a few friends that came up for the day. riding was great. slept in a bit late sunday and started around 11. the sun was out in full today. no need for wadders. 20 minutes in fish on. small wild to hand after a short scrap. let it go and continue working the run. another few yards up the run i have another good take only to feel a few head shakes then nothing. to bad. had the girlfriend and dog out with me enjoying the sun but we were all getting hungry and burnt lol, so we pack it in to head back to the camper for a late lunch. all and all a fantastic weekend.
