At about the midway point of last salmon season I had the gears go on my ambassadeur go on me and I snapped the tip off of my rod on the bottom of a bridge, so I decided instead of being cheAp and just fixing what I have I'd replace it, I stuck with the same rod which is a shimano technium 10'-6" medium action drift rod and I upgraded to a 400b Calcutta. Now we just need some fish to get here

Should send your old rod in for warranty depending on the make of it

The old rod is also a technium, I've had it 4-5 years I'm not sure about the warranty on it but that's a goi suggestion, I'll look into it thanks.

Warranty is lifetime on those bring it to the shop you got it from you should get a new rod back in a week or two
