Have you been on the naughty list? BC Ministry of Environment's compliance and enforcement report for the first quarter of 2014 is now available for public viewing.

So just curious which of those infraction categories, if any, would cover the intentionally snagging and/or retaining of foul hooked fish?

Also interesting to note only a couple dozen citations in the LML. You could easily see enough BS on the Vedder every day to fill that whole report if you hang out at the famous holes.

"Fish for salmon by prohibited method, with prohibited gear, or with prohibited bait"
or
"Fish by/with prohibited method, gear or bait"

Not nearly as many violations listed as I would expect.

I'm surprised... There's not as many in the lower mainland as I would expect.  TBH, I see so many violations, practically almost every time I fish...  Give me a badge and a gun and I'll make that report a little thicker.

Time to talk to my MLA about this.
