Had a dental appointment on Friday & afterwords walked over to Steveston Marine & Hardware.
Have to admit it's been a few years since my last visit.
Now that Nikita or however that place is called has closed down,one would conclude the customer base will increase across the street.
Immeadiately noticed they have more sport fishing items on the main floor.
Talked to a few staff & got the impression they are a very good group of folks.

There are so so many places to buy our gear,rods & reels & most shop in places where we live.
Plus if the staff are friendly is a big plus where we spend our $$$.
Me thinks I will buy some lures & line at Steveston Marine & Hardware.
Only wish though prices would be displayed when buying a lure(s)

A friend of mine, Rob Lees was managing the fishing department there for the past 5 years. Unfortunately he moved to the interior, but before he left, he made sure to update and upgrade the department prior to Nikkas closing. I think with the limited budget he had to work with, he did an awesome job and hopefully they can continue to move forward to provide Steveston with another reliable fishing outlet for the avid fisherman to enjoy.
