Outlook
We’re seeing a lot more sun and way less rain in this week’s forecast so we’re getting ready to get out on the water! April marks a busy month with all types of anglers out chasing fish and enjoying the early spring weather.
Most of the rivers have come or are coming back into shape after last weekends deluge. Hopefully the bit of rain predicted doesn’t blow them out again. Lake fishing has arrived early with a number of the interior lakes fishing weeks earlier than normal.
Saltwater fishing in the harbour seems to have picked up a bit this week but we are still finding the bigger fisher are further afield in Howe Sound and South Bowen.
April is one of our busiest months for classes and courses. From Introduction to Fly Fishing, Mastering Local Saltwater Salmon and Chrinomid Techniques we’ve got a course for you. We are also excited to let you know about a unique event we are hosting with the Association Of Book Publishers Of British Columbia. Check out all of the details below.
