Strait of Juan de Fuca, August 18th 2015

We did a quick day trip a couple of days ago with Rob at Gibbs-Delta who's having his family holiday at Pedder Bay. The target species was chinook salmon which are all schooling and feeding in front of Southern Vancouver Island right now. Lots of boats out, we probably saw over 50 around us throughout the day. The fishing was good, overall we hooked into 6 and landed 4. Smallest was around 8 or 9, biggest was around 16. The evenings have been producing much bigger fish but we had to leave and catch the ferry home at 5pm so missed that bite. Anchovies and Gibbs' new Skinny G lures did the tricks.

are you now promoting the the best bbq sauce in the world
such a suttle pic lower right hand corner bottle
dogs on the bbq with the sauce lightly drizzled

nice lookin fish too lol when I finnaly got around to lookin at them
and not the SWEET BABY RAY'S covered dogs :P :P :P

You'll need a lot of sauce to mask that stench we were smelling 100ft away lol...
