Stave Oct 3
« on: October 03, 2015, 01:26:10 PM »

Checked out the mid river, low morning low tide. Almost nothing showing, with few fishermen and maybe one chum taken. Tide came in fast, nothing above or at the mouth rolled in that showed itself to me. Did see a nice spring left on the side of the road by a pull out  ::)

Two more things, PLEASE don't leave your dog in the car and please consider using a travel coffee mug or small thermos (fits in vest and hot drink all day) so there wont be cardboard cups floating down stream like some kind of hatch is on.

PS fuel in Silverdale is 99.9 a Liter

Ya that sucks. People sure have an easy time carrying full cups of coffee than empty ones for some reason. Kind of like the prolific beer can and smoke butt hatch on the Fraser every summer.

Thanks for the report.  Still early days i guess,  if I recall previous seasons correctly I did not really have much success in the Stave until around October 10th onwards.

Don't know why people insist on leaving their cups and other stuff around.   Not hard to pack that stuff out before leaving.
