A 9' Berkley Air Rod with a Quantum Incyte 40 reel, and a 9' 8wt. Dragonfly Expedition 2 with an Amundson TXS reel were stolen right from under my nose just below the Vedder/Sumas confluence on October 17th, at about 12:30 pm. I left the rods along the bank as a reminder to anyone who might show up that that was my spot, and, after an unexpected five-minute siesta less than 40 feet away from the rods, they were gone. I know that it might seem that I was taking a big risk by leaving the rods unattended, but lots of people have been doing it there for years, and there's never been an issue. Obviously, I now know that I was asking for trouble by not keeping watch over my rods, but hindsight's a bugger, isn't it?
I know I'm probably never going to see my rods again, but I figured that I might as well try.
