I bought an 11'3" light steelhead rod from Hanson in his shop on Front St in New West in the late 80s. It was a beautiful rod and my favorite until it broke a couple of years ago. The break was no fault of the maker.

I have not fished one but have seen a few, and like firebird says they are really well made.

I've fished one and they are very nice and well made rods.

yes, my rod is a 11' 3" rod, good condition, have no idea of weight, 8-12 lb I assume. it is light, maybe similar to a  sage 3106lb?
