« on: July 07, 2004, 08:31:08 PM »

Just purchased some waders off of Ebay and will get them next week.
There brand new and I got them for $100.00 CND.
There listed at $129.00 US on the Orvis site.
Will let you guys know how they work out.

Here's the link to the Waders.

Hook, you'll be pleased you went with breathables.  So light, you hardly know you're wearing them, no matter what the temp.  For this time of year, I like to wear a khaki type of pants under, you know the ones you can unzip the bottoms to turn into shorts after fishing a long hot day.  For late fall/winter, I wear fleece bottoms.  You'll also find their removal a breeze.  You'll likely never go back to neos.  Oh, don't forget to wear the wading belt with these.

I bought mine off E-bay also.  Got a pair of Orvis Silver Label Hiking Bootfoots (Bootfoot with Laces) for $100 US.  Even the cheapest breathable waders in town go for way more than that.  I used them on the Fraser on Sunday and man were they sweet.  The great thing about the orvis waders is that when it is hot,  you can fold them down to the waist and wear them as waist waders.

Just got my waders from ebay and they fit perfectly. I used their size chart before I bid on them. The only problem is I'm going on holidays and won't get a chance to try them out till I get back.
