Yup; at hockey last night, my buddy showed me a picture of a 20 lb. black spring with a red belly he caught on Wednesday trolling in tight. He said it was a little tricky maneuvering the boat as lots of other boat captains seemed clueless about the etiquette there.

been to the cap 5 times in the last 2 weeks, all on incoming tides, about half in the morning, the other half in the afternoon.  At least 1 decent chinoook > 15lbs hooked every trip, but not all netted, with a few good sized wild and hatchery coho thrown in the mix. Most hooked one day was 3, so nothing red hot, but seems like if you put in the time you will get at least one good take. Everything has been on bait, with pro-cure bloody tuna with glow flasher and teaserhead at about 90-95ft in 100ft of water. Hopefully we are still in the peak of this fishery as i plan on going out a few more times before it's over.

Here is a report from the Sandheads today,
slow, very slow.  Six hours, 1 coho only saw a couple of other hooks ups.
