How many times the media said Don Cherry should be fired. Many times. It finally did happen a few hrs ago.
Is he fired just from Sportsnet or cbc hockey night in Canada or does Sportsnet own hockey night in Canada too?
All over he said more new comers to Canada should wear poppies.
Basically Canada is free today because of Canadian soldiers giving their lives to protect their country from evil armies trying to take over the world.
Am I a big fan of Don Cherry NO. He liked fighting in the NHL. He said it stopped the stick work if fighting was not allowed.
Well in my opionion fighting has no place in hockey & nor does spearing or using your stick to hurt another player.
Regardless the man with LOUD looking suits....or the Bobby Orr is the greatest player ever ...has been fired.
Oh well he's 85 & surely now he can rest up & have more free time....
Guess he'll have to buy a ticket to the games now.

Don Cherry got fired on Rememberance Day.
One day he'll remember all the years he has left.
Guess he got fired by email or text message.
Who in their right mind would fire the guy in person........he'd be attacked !!!
Or maybe the guy or they sent a lady....( man should never hit a lady right? ) says: hi Don how are you today. I bet you have no idea why I want to see you ?

The guy must of walked into the room with a stick & white flag on top.
I did not agree with him on some views but other ideas he was right on.
He sure has energy for an eighty-5 yr old. Sparkle in his eyes.
He has his followers & his detractors...two camps.
I'm in the middle so good bye Don...wish ya the best. Many will miss him ...me included as seen his face on the boob tube for last 50 yrs at least.

Political correctness ...
Censorship & freedom to say your views in a democratic nation is a fine line.
Yes people have to watch what they say in a dictator nation. (China Iran N Korea ...) but so it seems more & more people have to keep views to themselves.
Go with the flow....
If one believes in a "higher power" ha ...they believe upon death people will find out the true facts ...of what this world is all about.
If one believes in "let the chips fall where if will" ...evolution ...life stops at death. Body is put 6ft under & that's it.
Let's eat drink fish & be merry for tomorrow we will die.
I'm bias of course being a believer.

I cannot watch any of those 24/7 USA news channels.
They just say the same thing everyday using dif. words: like a total political gossip program.
Drive a guy nuts.
Either it's Pres Trump is the best leader since sliced bread or Pres. Trump & Russian help...or Pres. Trump and his taxes...Pres. Trump & impeachment hearings (guess Democrats think if he runs again ...he'll win so they want him out now...)
All of them news channels are WACKOS not only FAUX ( FOX ).
Not one bit of objective reporting.
