White tipped fins make me think a cutbow.

Rainbow trout. Colour, and shape of face. Also, the phenotype variation in rainbow trout seems to be much more varied than in Cutthroat trout.
It doesn't look too far off of a Thompson rainbow to me.

Yup, cutthroat don't have white tip fins. Then there's the orange colouring on the gill plate - mark of a cutty.

Therefore - cuttbow.

I'd dare to bet a six-pack of Negra Modelo that Clarki is right.

I didn't vote since I knew before hand. The spots look like the splatter of x-spots typical of coastal cutties but not definitive. This isn't unusual in rainbows or coastal steelhead for that matter.

Often quoted by old hands as indicative of resident rainbows (not steelhead) I've never seen the white fin tips described as definitive of anything.

Photos can be deceptive but the length of the maxlliary looks to me to not extend past the eye. Overall flank coloration is more typical of coastal rainbow but I have seen cutts with that spectrum. Lack of the throat slash was not noted by anyone but on some cutthroat it can be all but invisible. You may have to push down on the tongue to see it.
