Bar fishing August 14th
« on: August 14, 2004, 10:21:49 PM »

First off Id like to say Chris its not fair using a damn chopper to look for lost lures ;D .
Now for our day on the river, started good with a bee stinging my arm as it was hanging out the car window :o stupid bug hit like a 3 oz betty ;D anyway a nice walk in to a quiet shady bar with know one in site ;D lotsa agates and a relaxing day slowly emtying the cooler :D Only thing missing was a spring or two but we did see some smaller fish jumping near shore that I could not tempt with a blade. All in all a damn fine day on the river, though it sounds like peg leg would have been fun too ::)

Seriously it was as good a day as my three fish day the other week if not better, we had the whole bar to ourselves, no noise / stress/ constant casting/ snaging/tangles/ morons ect.just a shady spot next to the cooler and mother nature to entertain us.Still, peg sounded like fun today though :D
