sorry for all that think I shoulda put a spot for those who didnt participate....

However, my poll was intended to find out how people fared.  Not to poll how many on this forum did not or chose not to fish for sockeye.  I really dont care to walk that path at all.

If you are interested in that... create another poll.  Mine was to see ....IF you fished for socks...HOW did you do???

NO OFFENSE at all intended to those who chose not to fish for socks. ;)

As for moi, I have 4 in 6 trips.  Wish I had tried pegleg much earlier, it woulda cost me far less in gear, gas and headaches, and heartache.  in two trips to the gong show I got 3 sox.  hooked at least as many that I didnt land.  At herrling, I only managed 1 fish in 4 trips, and only hooked one other.  Not a great year for me, but I have enough fish for me in the freezer, to last till next year.

Well I brought home 6. All the trips don't count as I was practicing. So if I count from when I landed my first 2 then I got 2 on the next trip, 1 on the next and one on the next which was today. I guess if you have to count all of the trips I made, even the practicing ones, then I went out about 10-11 times to get 6 socks.
Did you catch another Igor?

Did pretty good overall but was not really makiing a serious effort as the purpose of my trips was primarily therapeautic as I had knee surgery in July and was attempting to re-hab it creatively.Saw a lot of water Iwould not otherwise have. :) Was out about 10 times.I could not help but notice all the floaters after all the comercial activity(both sanctioned and not).Do not know if it was just me but the last day the fish were the cleanest of any day and some of the fish I caught earlier were huge by sock standards. Am somewhat releived as things were really going downhill on the home maintenance front.Time to re-re reels and prepare for the much more civilised pastime of coho fishing.

5 fish for me camp for 3 days, and made 6 more trips.

My son got 2 on 5 trips.

My wife got one on 4 trips.

Daughter caught lots of Pike minnows and white fish.

We only flossed a little this year and choose to bar fish the rest of the time.

Still no spring for me!
