Welcome to the buy and sell section. This section is available to all registered forum members (subscribers and non-subscribers). Here are some pointers on how members should conduct themselves in this section.

• When posting, please indicate in the topic whether you are selling or looking (ie. For sale, FS, want to buy, WTB).
• When selling an item, please indicate your selling price. The buy and sell is not an auction board.
• Although the buy and sell section is not limited to fishing related items only, please minimize the amount of non-fishing related items. The moderators reserve the right to remove postings of items that we believe are inappropriate in this section.
• Please include your location and contact information (email or phone number) so those who are interested can contact you further.
• Once you have sold or found the item, please post a note in your thread (ie. item sold). This would help us to remove unwanted posts. Do not just edit the original post; make a new post saying "sold" so the thread is bumped to the top
• If you have a problem with the price of an item for sale in the Buy & Sell do not post your complaint in the thread. Send the seller a PM or e-mail, or report it to the moderators if needed. Comments such as: "you can get it cheaper at...", "it's not worth that much", "that's not a fair price", etc. are unacceptable.
• Advertisements of commercial sales are not allowed in this section. For more information on commercial advertisements, please visit this page. Fishing with Rod offers inexpensive banner and word advertisements throughout the website.
• No sales of firearms please, including Bows, BB, pellet and paintball guns.
• If readers find a posting inappropriate in this section, please email Dion at ih8xc@hotmail.com or use the Report to moderator link at the end of each post.

Limitations to new members
Due to the overwhelming amount of spammers that we have received in the last several months, we have made some changes to what functions are available to new members.

If you have just signed up for an account, you will not be able to post a new topic until you have post five replies in existing topics. We recommend that you introduce yourself in the personal profile thread first.

Non-subscribers cannot send personal messages but can view personal messages that subscribers send to them. For more information on FWR subscription, please visit this page.
