I would love to fish for Blue Fin Tuna.

I hope father Christmas is good for me, and pays for a fishing trip for these beast in the next few years.

I am not sure... I got the pics from a site that i really enjoy browsing through. Makes me long for a place that i have never been. The members gallery is very entertaining.

I know you can catch albacore tuna off the west coast.  My buddy went on a charter about 50 miles off the coast and caught a number of them.  Real good eating too.  Didn't catch any Blue Fin on that trip though.  I'd prefer to catch them somewhere tropical and warm  8)

These are Bluefin caught off the Oregon Coast last week.Also all kinds of them off California now.





If it's  Giant Bluefin  you want it's easy enough to take a Charter from one of the Nova Scotia or PEI ports-expensive but if you catch a fish that Charter is free.

dennisK-if that Trevally is 5 pounds I'll eat it raw fins 'n all!That's an adult man's hands and the fish is no bigger-give it 700 grams tops.

Those fish are so streamlined.  They must be like torpedoes fighting them.
