Vedder Sept 18th
« on: September 18, 2004, 05:15:13 PM »

Got up nice and early today headed out to the mighty Vedder with my buddy Jeff, AKA "Funruh". Started up top at Limit, moved on down to Ranger,Alison, Tamahi, Keith Wilson rd and many places in beween. All in all, caught 8 large agressive rocks, Three rather Knarley sticks and one Hell of a Chill.  >:(
oh well, could be worse, could have been stuck at home...

Drove over the Tamahi about an hour ago. Water is very high but didn't appear to muddy.

My buddie was in the canal just before dark. He said the bar directly below Keith Wilson bridge is still pretty small but showing. That tells me that the water level really isn't that bad. He said clarity was plenty good enough for spoons and he had a descent on on for a bit then lost it. Spoon fishing. He said he seen a few rising.
