Cap Oct. 14
« on: October 14, 2004, 07:42:38 PM »

Fished the Cap this morning for couple of hours. River in excellent shape. Not too many out today. Fishing was generally slow. Saw 6 fish hooked (2 landed). I manage to hook and lost a coho.

Was there today for a few hours under the Hwy 1 bridge. Fshing was very slow. Snagged a ~15 pounds spring, in prime shape, that had a humongous treble hook stuck on her side, actually I snagged the hook. Released it carefully after removing that monstruosity. I don't think too many fish feel happy for being caught but I guess this one did. So did I  :D
My friend hook something that he thinks was a chum (possible?), he lost it after a brief figth.

I learned from CF this week that there are chum in the Cap..they run to Brother's Creek, but sometimes they over shoot, and head up river.
