Spin fishing for salmon

Hi guys, i plan to spend my one day off tommorow fishing. :D  Since i only have a spinning rod, i was wondering where i can fishing for salmon with spinners close to shore.  Somewhere not far from vancouver. please pm someone!

try along river road in delta and surrey. lots of chum in the lower river right now.

Thanks, are the fish within casting distance from shore?  How close do they come?

They definitely come within casting distance, sometimes as close as 20 feet. Just check out River Rd as suggested and fish where you see surface activity. The two hours prior to high tide are your best bet as the fish usually swim in with the tide.

How bout foreshore park in vancouver? Its closer to me; my car isn't really up for a drive to surrey( i live in vancouver).
