Was up at the vedder for a week ,fished mostly the canal looking for some fresh hoes,when i went to the upper river for a look i saw more bears than coho so i turned around and soon decided to stay on the lower river.One of the bears was black with a cinnamon stripe down its back....cool little creatures but a pain in the a.. when they are on the trail to the river.

Jus got back from a week on the Ved. myself fished long hard days with wool and blades first light to last light everyday last week no Ho's but countless springs and chum and even a couple of them sucker fish 12-16" (biggest ones i seen must be chowin lotsa roe).....lol, wool of choice was peach with a lil orange in there have pics of springs but unaware of how to post , met some real nice chaps from Denmark showed them the 'secret spot' . Nice to see these guys enjoying our beautiful province as they could not stop going on about  how  lucky we actually are, made me stop and think how true it is........after that 'hooking' fish was just a bonus to it all ,didnt care either way just happy to be out there ,  but then again isnt that what fishing is all about     btw C&R everything but one spring a small one (15pds) gonna try fish an chips with it heard it beats halibut !!!
