Flies finally working
« on: October 31, 2004, 08:27:23 PM »

Still slow on the fly but finally getting some Coho. One keeper from the Stave on Saturday 11-lbs. plus some doggies. One about 10 and another a good 7-lbs at first light this morning. All fish hittingh the same fly copper beed on a 2x #8. Silver tinsel overwrapped with copper wire. A bit of blue calf tail, a bit of blue krystal flash and wings from blue parrot. The parrot tail feathers are a really neat blue on the outside and gold on the underside. All Coho hit on a dead drift in minimal current water. I love it when they hit my flies.

Thank's Rieber, good to know what fly pattern is best to use. Thinking of heading out there Tuesday.
