Apperantly the parking lot at the hatchery was quite full with a lot of guys fishing the canal mouth. According to the fishery employee.

Didn't start until late afternoon, and skipped the hatchery to fish Easter Seal. Only a few guys fishing there. 2' visibility. The water is high. There is even a fast flowing overflow channel separating the camp site and the run. Not a fish for any body when I was there until dark, even after intensive covering of the run & tail out by several fishers, mostly short floating. Bait, lure, worm, what have you, inside, outside, nothing works.  :(  I wonder what it was in the morning. There was no obvious kill marks on the shore.  But saw a seal momentarily at the tail out. :o  That is probably why the name of the run is such.  ;D  But where are the fish?   ??? Might have all gone up the canyon with that seal around. Any report from the hatchery area?

It was fishable. About 2' visibility, greenish grey, high and rushing fast in the middle of the pool. The camp ground side has good flow on the edge. The bible camp side was really raging fast. But with all the rain since then, it may be different now. There could be fish there today if the seal is gone. ;D

No need to pick on a kid. Birdman, as far as I know there is no such map, besides most of the good spots haven't been named in an attempt to keep them secret.
