Bar fishing
« on: April 09, 2005, 04:25:37 AM »

Now that the weather is starting to get a lot better, anyone have any idea when we can start bar fishing for springs in the fraser with a good chance of actually getting one?  I need to catch up on some reading and do some tanning.  IIRC people were starting to show up around this time last year below the mission bridge ie Derby, etc.

Apprentice, there are fish in the system now, but you'll have to be gentle and do catch and release until May 1. Water looks not bad and it's nice and quiet out there! The makings for a relaxing day with a good chance of hearing the bell go!  :D

Thanks 2:40.  Relaxing with "a good chance of hearing the bell go" is all I need.  It'll also be funny to see the weird looks I'm gonna get from boaters passing by.
