lower Fraser June 14
« on: June 14, 2005, 07:03:17 PM »

Well after missing a couple of fish yesterday I was determined to get my first sturgeon, since the girlfriend couldnt get out of her work commitments I made it a solo trip.  After getting a couple dozen worms from Berrys I was off to my new favorite spot.  Nearly two hours later and not even a nibble I was hoping for at least a bullhead bite to liven things up, then wham the rod goes down, good hookset and after a lengthy battle which involved a couple good runs and a couple cartwheels I landed my first sturgeon, about 4 feet long.  After about 20min I was into another one this one was smaller but still a great fight, a little over three feet. That was it for the day for me, but another fellow showed up and caught one just over 3 feet.
