Fishing on the sunshine coast right now?
« on: June 30, 2005, 11:22:38 AM »

I'm thinking of heading that way soon and am hoping there are places to fish (either fresh water or tidal) up there.  Any insights will be greatly appreciated.  Thanks.

If it's Trout you're after http://www.trouttales.ca/ has some info although you're late for best results.
Salt is hardly worth your while.
I know the area well and while it's quaint I'd say Vancouver Island has much more to offer visitors.

Thank you both.  Turns out we are heading to Vancouver Island for the Music Fest this coming weekend.  I'll take a rod along.
