July 24 - another spring for the BBQ
« on: July 24, 2005, 02:55:49 PM »

My dad and I headed out for a little fishing today, river wasnt as busy as I thought it would be but none the less on such a beautiful day, there were plenty of fishermen kicking around.

Any how the day started of with a bang as I hooked up with another beauti red 15 minutres into th trip.  I would peg it aroung 22 pounds give or take.  It was a nice fat doe and I went and left all her eggs sitting on the side of the river :-[

My dad didnt get anything today unfortunately but we didnt see a lot of other fish either (one other beached and 3-4 showing at the surface).

We didnt have a camera on the river so we took a snap at my dad's place...I'll send it over soon.

Saw Gooey, at the Vedder with his fish. I got a late start today and saw alot of sockeye rising, but no springs for me.  I have to stick to early morning fishing as that sun sure wore me out fast.
