Think i will try a new spot out.
« on: September 03, 2005, 08:06:23 AM »

I just thought I would give some of you a laugh.

I decided to seek out a different spot so I wanted to go to the Portman Bridge area since it’s only a 10min drive away.  Well when I turned off the highway to find a road that would lead me to the river.  Dang >:( I took the wrong turn but still kept trying to find a road that would send me to a spot.  The only places I found were CNN property no trespassing.   :( So I kept on trying.

You guessed it I got lost lets see were did I end up oh down town area of Surry then Delta and at this point I decided ok its 7:30pm maybe I can get a few casts in at Richmond instead.  Oops I’m in Langley now Dang missed my turn off.

Well I finally did manage to get to Richmond area but as you may guess by this time it was dark 8:45pm.  Since I was there I just took a seat on a rock and listened to all the fish jumping.  I may not have been able to fish that evening but it was still relaxing just sitting by the river and hearing the sounds of life coming from the waters edge.  :)  :D

If you just keep heading East, you will arrive back in Ontario in a few days. ;D

Now come on you should know a real nature person tries to find there way by the sun not by a map. ooh I guess a map is kind of out of date as well.  Get with the program you need a GPS!!!! 8) ;D :P

One good thing about BC is you can't get lost that easy becuase once you are in the open you know that you are far away from the city.  and the next one is around 4hrs away befor you hit another major city if there really is one.  ::)

But ya i forgot my map at home.

Map is much cheaper than GPS :)

Hey, you just learned something that fishing is really about!!! - Not about catching your fish, it is about great outdoors, nature, piece, ... At least for me that is the best part, and if fish comes along that is a bonus.
