Well, after a thousand casts over the last 2 months, I have succumbed to "trigger finger" syndrome. $:-\$ So says my doctor. My little finger on my casting hand has become stiff, the joint pops between two positions, and the only remedy is to rest it and have a cortisone injection treatment. Doctor laughed when I told him it was likely caused by my hours of holding a rod. Told him salmon season is "almost" over, so rest won't be a problem. By the way, if you're under 40, you're safe. So, anyone else joined the "trigger finger" club ? Any ancient remedies not already listed on the internet ?

You get it from using vibrating tools like angle grinders & chainsaws. Just developed my third one this years, first was the pinky, then the ring finger, now my middle finger on my right hand. Tried the shots one the first one years ago, waste of time. The only thing I found to fix it is surgery. Simple proccess, 20 min under the knife and 10 days off work. Happy fishing.
