Hit the river with a couple of buddies at first light. BRRRRRR!!! Wind was a blowin' so up above the crossing we go. Fished around Tamahi and the water was low and clear and nothing happening (at least where we were). Didn't see or talk to anyone else with anything either. Need some rain.

out with my brother todoay. yes it was chilly. we worked allison pools and nothing on for us. we saw one stealhead land in the 10lb range and the some guy hit one more. we also counted about 20 ho's all day, but nothing bitting. water very clear. sunny day and great fun working the waters today. hope to go again soon........

Spent all day on the river yesterday with some success. We fished the backside of tamahi and my buddy got into a beauty wild ho of about 10 lbs, about a half hour later he got into a nice doe metal head of about 10lbs. Then it was my turn.... long cast to the ohter side float hits the water and was almost eaten by a fish scared the shite out of me .. Shorter float second cast FISH ON!!! great battle of about 8-9 mins a few jumps and alot of trying not to slip on the rocks while walking down stream. Layed to hand a beauty hatch buck of about 15lbs.. pics to follow as soon as i get them back!!
