Grand slam of 3 rivers
« on: December 27, 2005, 03:53:44 PM »

Well, it was a grand slam attempt  ::)
Stave and a few others in the area.  Fished them all for a couple hours each, and had nothing.  Water on the stave was surprisingly clear.  Looked like at least 3feet vis.  Saw a couple big ol tomatoes doing their thing, but no sign of any trout.

Also was down at the chehalis the other day and saw many hundreds (or even thousands?!?) of ripe coho in the hatchery!  Horray there will be fish in the future.  Did't see much in the main channel, and the water was pretty high for my liking but there were a few people catching the odd old fish from what I heard.

Anyone else been out?  I forgot how slow the fishing is on the coast... Can't wait to get back home and drill some holes in the ice  ;)

Cheers,

J5

Speaking of the main channel, how has the high water affected the channel ?

Where would you be drilling the holes?
